Grand opening
At last, at long last...
After painstaking hours of searching blogskins....
After painstaking hours of going through the html codes of the templates and customizing it to become my own...
After painstaking minutes of waiting for the entire blog to republish...
I have finally done it!
I have given my dull old black blog new life!
Okay, okay, I know that all I just did was to change the background into blue color.
Hey, but you cannot forget the fact that I tried to download the skin of blogskins and tried to customize it!
If you guys noticed, Kim did actually, for a while, my blog template did change because I accidentally republished my blog when I actually wanted to preview how the new blogskin looked like! So whoops, my bad.
But main problem was, the html code of that new design didn't allow comments on posts. So I tried to settle that problem but I didn't until William Tio came along! :D But because there were also a few settings in there that I could not change, I decided not to.
And you know what those settings were?
Those settings that couldn't be changed were settings that enabled only one person to post. Thereby, the profile of the blog is only one person, the posting can only be done by one person. Basically, the skin was designed to be only used by one person. Eg. at the end of each blog post, you know there's a part that goes Posted By? Well, for the new blogskin that I tried, there was none of that.
So, for my undying kindness Emma, for taking your views into consideration, for just changing this template to blue instead of giving it really new life by changing it into a BETTER BLOGSKIN, you had better post. Because as administrator of this blog, I can cancel you off my team easily. And indeed I could because I REALLY WANTED THAT NEW LOVELY BLOGSKIN but I didn't because I was too kind. And besides, I could have deleted you off the team because of your inactivity.
But once again, because of my sympathy and empathy, I didn't. Out of the lovingkindness in my heart, I didn't. SO YOU HAD BETTER BLOG PRETTY FREQUENTLY TO REPAY THE DEBT EMMA! You had better repay my kindness and oh-so-overwhelming generosity.
Gosh, this is what happens when I decide to take after Mtyp's ego. ;)
P.S. I did make some changes to the blog, however insignificant they might be. For eg. there is a new sentence in the sidebar. There is words above the counter and most of all, there is a new description for the blog (you know the one below the title Memories?) And you guys had better not ciplak that quote or whatever thingamajig you call it because it is copyrighted and all properties of that description belongs to Wong Siaw Hui of Form 4C 2005. I know that the quote is so damn good that you just want to copy it and make it your own right? Oh dear. There speaks my ego again.
Disclaimer: Whatsoever that hurts you in the blog is not my fault. It is my ego speaking throughout this entire post. So if there is anything to be blamed, it's my ego. By the way, my ego was boosted by Mtyp, unbeknownst to her.

grand opening my foot. nice quote up there but the background gives me a headache. too bright for me. but anything that you like. its your blog afterall.
haha... well Emma kept complaining that this blog is too black and too dull. So I did it in blue la!
I know it's not a grand opening but well, I had nth else to put as the post title. The bground is ok after a while.
