Holidays
So, it's that time of the year again huh?
Holidays...
Ah well... isn't exactly much of a holiday for me.
Why?
Ahaha... I'll tell you why.
No. 1: I have a lot of prefectorial things to settle before the academic year of 2006 starts. Got prefect workshop to organize and plan for again. (The teachers want a better organization, ugh) And then got new prefects coming in next year. Got duty roster and assembly duties to sort out again...
No. 2: I have only completed 10 questions of Add Maths. That alone took me like 3 hours or 4? I know I'm dense that's why I'm slow. And so I have still got like 40 questions more to go? Dang... tonight better do like 5 more? At least circular measure is done. Then got Physics. Have to study for Chem test next year...
No. 3: Suddenly, I am put fully-in-charge of the Christmas play for the church youth. Not that I'm complaining but well, more work for me. I wish Nov 16 will arrive sooner. That way Mike will be back to help me out. And I still have to train the actors up from scratch. Help!
No. 4: Before sch reopens, I think I had better look thru the Form 4 syllabus for everyth. If not, next year, haha! the teachers will be outta get us, stuffing our brains with Form 5 and yapping at us when we tell them we need time off to study Form 4 stuff. I can just imagine Mrs. Ngu going, "What did I tell you ppl? I told you to study the Form 4 syllabus this holidays didn't I?" And Cikgu Anita going, "Budak, budak, I tell you ppl to study last year holidays and you didn't la."
No. 5: I have absolutely no chance of escaping that dreaded return to sch on Dec 28. It's compulsory and being my responsibility, I have to be there to take attendance of prefects. Yeah, and horror of horrors, both Headmaster and Mr. Lim will be there. So no chance of running off. Argh.
Ah well... I still have some treasured moments I guess. At least the sketch involves work AND play. Good good... the rest is just... sigh... plain work.
I'm starting to sound old.
